„Aesculapius” has much contact with sister associations in Groningen (G.F.S.V. “Pharmaciae Sacrum”), Utrecht (U.P.S.V. “Unitas Pharmaceuticorum”) and Amsterdam (VCSVU). Together with these associations, there are activities such as a sports day, a Profession Day, a Personal Development Day and a congress. Together, the four associations form the Royal Dutch Pharmaceutical Students Association (K.N.P.S.V.), which liaises with professional organisations and the pharmaceutical industry, among others.
Furthermore, „Aesculapius” maintains contact with all sister chemical societies affiliated to the KNCV (the Royal Dutch Chemical Association). „Aesculapius” is also in contact with the other STEM associations at Leiden University. The board consults with them in the Verenigingenoverleg (VerO) on joint activities, such as the Faculty Fest, the Science Gala and the Open Podium, and other matters of interest to the associations.
Finally, the association also liaises with all other study associations of Leiden University in the Study Associations Consultation Platform (StOP).
